ABOUT DR. SOURAV

Dr. kumar Sourav's background and expertise make him somewhat unique in the field of medicine. In addition to being one of the India's foremost experts on neuroendocrinology, he has extensive clinical and research experience in behavioral neurology, giving him a perspective on brain disorders that few others can provide.

While most neuroendocrinologists focus on scientific research, Dr. Sourav operates one of the few clinical practices in the field, providing much-needed relief to patients whose hormones are adversely impacting their behavior, cognition and
general health.

Over the years, Dr. Sourav has diagnosed and successfully treated many patients with catamenial epilepsy (seizures occurring in phase with the menstrual cycle), emotional disorders brought on by premenstrual and menopausal influences, anxiety resulting from late onset congenital adrenal hyperplasia, and a range of disorders involving the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland.
